A beautiful soul that you all might know, Ben Lee has just released his album "Ayahuasca, Welcome to the work". I spent much of my late teens and early twenties dancing and singing to this brothers vibrant sounds. He has always held such a dear place in my heart so I felt no surprise when I first discovered the title of his latest work. I have heard him share that it's sort of like his "coming out of the closet". I love that he has embraced this journey and is now sharing it with the world. Its time. There are no more secrets to be had. We need as much love as we can get these days and if much of the remembrance and rebirth is coming from our sacred plants, then I give thanks from my heart to all those helping to facilitate the healing. I am so in love with this album. Ben takes us on a journey of the soul and his voice along with his sis Appleonia opens the heart like no other.
Having spent many moons in Peru working with different plant medicines, I had a vision several years ago to create ceremonial pouches that married the North and the South. They quickly found homes the last time around and now I'm feeling called to offer them once again. These pouches are made with buckskin that I tanned myself along with the art of the Shipibo tribe in the Peruvian Amazon. They are my gift to the plants and the people.
